Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 26, 2026 Last updated: July 26, 2026
Northwest Live Studios ("we," "us," "our") runs a booking website at northwestlive.studio where you can create an account, view studio availability, and book and pay for studio time and production services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through that site and how we handle it.
This policy covers the northwestlive.studio booking app only. Our separate marketing site, northwestlive.com, is not covered here.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
Northwest Live Studios is a sole proprietorship owned by Mike Campbell, based in Washington State (Seattle Eastside area). It offers bookable studio time and music, music-video, and podcast production services.
For any privacy or data question — including requests to access, correct, or delete your information — email contactus@northwestlive.com.
2. What personal information we collect, and where it comes from
We collect only what we need to run the booking service:
- Account and identity information. When you sign in with Google or with an email link, we receive your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, the information we receive is limited to that basic profile (name and email) — we do not receive your Google password or your contacts.
- Profile details you enter. Anything you choose to add to your account or profile.
- Booking details. The dates and times you request, the project or package you're booking, and any notes you include.
- Basic technical/session data. Information needed to keep you logged in and to operate the site (see Section 6 on cookies and local storage).
We do not collect full payment card numbers — payments are handled by Square (see Section 5).
3. How and why we use your information
We use your information to:
- create and manage your account and sign you in;
- show studio availability and take, confirm, and manage your bookings;
- process payments for studio time and production services (through Square);
- communicate with you about your bookings, account, and requests; and
- keep the service secure and working properly, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Our studio staff can see booking details in order to schedule and deliver your sessions.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for third-party advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers ("sub-processors") to run the service. Each one only receives the information it needs for its role:
| Provider | Role |
|---|---|
| Sign-in (OAuth). Provides your basic profile (name, email) when you choose Google sign-in. | |
| Supabase | Authentication and database — stores your account and booking data on our behalf. |
| Square | Payment processing. Handles your card and payment details directly. |
| Netlify | Website hosting (the site and the serverless function that handles payments). |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public. If the business is ever sold or transferred, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Square. When you pay, your card and payment details are entered into and handled by Square under Square's own terms and privacy policy. We do not store your full card number. We keep basic records of your transactions (for example, that a booking was paid, the amount, and the date) for accounting and customer-service purposes.
6. Cookies and local storage
The app uses cookies and browser local storage for essential purposes only:
- to keep you signed in (your login session), and
- to remember basic interface preferences.
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or prevent parts of the site from working.
7. Data security and retention
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and we rely on established providers (Supabase, Square, Netlify) that maintain their own security safeguards. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your data protected.
Retention. We keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your account and profile information within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain records — for example, booking and payment records retained for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
8. Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- access the personal information we hold about you,
- correct information that's wrong or out of date, or
- delete your account and associated personal information (subject to records we're required to keep).
To make any of these requests, email contactus@northwestlive.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. California residents and visitors outside the U.S.
California (CCPA)
If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request access to or deletion of that information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, email contactus@northwestlive.com.
Visitors outside the United States
Our studio and services are based in Washington State, USA, and are intended for U.S. customers. If you access the site from outside the U.S. (including the EU/UK), your information will be processed in the United States. Where local laws such as the GDPR apply, our lawful basis for processing is generally to perform our services for you, to comply with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating the studio. You can contact us at contactus@northwestlive.com with any questions or requests.
10. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and book studio time. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact contactus@northwestlive.com and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
